Slow recovery of bodies in baltimore channel..
« on: April 02, 2024, 04:36:08 AM »
Why is the effort so delayed in recovering bodies abd wreckage, since th ecargo ship tookm down the Key bridge?  Well, according to Lara logan,
and Chesapeak Bay magazine, it is because the "woke" demonrat Baltimore elected leadership, DEFUNDED the Baltimore Marine unit of the Police
department, and apparently even let go of their divers & boats.

Who knows, if the police happened to be out on the bay that day, they may have saved some lives..

Probably like some places i know of
Any body recovery connected with the
bridge collapse has to be done by a
particular division of so-and-so department
by the employees whose job description
allows them to do this or that specified
in their labor contract.

Probably a dozen fully qualified experienced
divers nearby that won't be allowed to lift
a finger to assist in any way
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

What I heard on the radio was that they believed the workers were in trucks and the trucks are under the twisted steel of the bridge. They don't want to be careless with the lives of the divers by cutting steel members which are now under tension and may spring in unknown ways when cut loose. Makes sense to me.

Right you are, cutting anything under tension must be carefully thought out.  Same thing goes with tree cutting also.
