Happy new Gun Day
« on: April 28, 2024, 06:08:19 AM »
Friday, picked up a Savage Mll in .22M2, NIB off Gunbroker.
Yesterday was dumpin Rain, so took a Ride to the Valley and hit some Gun Stores...
At the first one, found a really nice Ruger 77 in 6.5 PRC on the "Used" Rack...Priced too good to pass up...
2nd. Store, a REALLY nice Rem.788 in .222  "jumped" off the wall..
Came with a extra Mag...Again priced to low to pass up...

. . 788. .
Came with a extra Mag...Again priced to low to pass up...

THAT'S the icing on that cake
Funny that those 788's that were built
as budget working man's guns are in
such demand now in 2024, and are
priced so high as well as the magazines
Seems crazy to me, but then I couldn't
have imagined in my wildest dreams
that a 30/30 lever rifle that retailed
for a hundred and fifty dollars new
would be inflated nearly 900-1000
percent in 2024 and actually sell
quickly

What a world what a world
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .
