An obviously deranged man se himself afire in protest.  Sadly, he can look forward to a lifetime of self-induced pain.

I Hope he gets some badly needed help, and goes forward to a reasonably pain free life.

What  was he protesting?  He was protesting both Biden and Trump..  It should make no difference anyway, since he ius obviously a troubled man.

I do wonder if that media personnel there, did anything to help, or  if they preferred to wait for the "big scoop" of a story..

In reality, how can you help someone who is willing to burn?

I honestly think that often a suicide is not more rthan a very temporary mood of depression, which if one can be helped at that moment, they may well survive to be productive. Not all of course, but many..

Here is a list of some folks who survived suicide, but went on to be productive.  Sorry, but such lists seem to concentrate on "celebrities"..

Here's the story of one poor fellow who tried suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate bridge..but changed his mind ... before he hit the water.

Of the  4 suicides  of  people I've known , In 3  Depression mixed with alcohol and a pistol was involved  . One jumped out of  a  7 story hospital room window .  I strongly believe Depression is in one's genetic makeup . I've seen  four generation's on one side of my family  suffer from  depression .

Yet only 4 suicide’s, sounds like all dancing with hara-kiri don’t finish that dance...

Yoiu have a point for sure, which is why I used the caveat.."not all of  course, but many".  I knew 3 brothers, nice guys..who all fell to suicide over a period of about 8 years.
