What can one expect when there's far too many feudal tribes on that continent that don't value human life any more than a dingo values the life of a kangaroo. Some of the bipeds on this planet aren't very far removed, both mentally and emotionally, from the rest of the jungle creatures. (And that might be an insult to the jungle creatures.
