What’s the diff between harbor freight and the other stores? Same chinese crap. Lower prices.

That looks like a caliper not a wrench.

Yeah
The harbor freight calipers I was
using broke before I ever got all
the lug nuts tight on just one wheel

Seriously, depends on what you buy.
Some name brands are no different
anymore. I have a broken set of
Snap Off pliers that all the tool
dealers I've approached about an
exchange have blown me off.
Contacted the manufacturer and
they say that the distributors
have to warranty their hand tools.
I also had a couple of pieces of
my brother in laws that they also
blew off. Might as well buy from
wallyworld or harbor freight and
save the cost of tool companies
living off their past reputation.
I've still got drawers full of assorted
Snap Off, Matco, Mac, KD, etc.
but no more. Anything new is
whatever's the cheapest.
I have a wire welder from HF that
does as good as some Lincoln
and Hobart lower end units of
acquaintances that I've used.
BIL has one of the top Miller, but
I don't think that he'll ever amortize
it in his lifetime. He probably could
have paid a welding shop to do
everything he's used it for, and come
way out ahead dollar-wise

Yes. Exactly. Because it is

I think it was supposed to be a joke

You've probably been out among
a more intelligent class of people.
There's pinhead hoodrats that have
probably tried to use a caliper or
something to turn a nut or bolt.
Around here mostly chemically
impaired dingle berry pinheads that
use everything but a correct tow chain
or tow strap to try to pull their
rattletrap vehicle home.
I've found a gazillion tie down straps,
Different pieces and sizes of assorted
rope tied together, twisted up sections
of different types of wire, and the
last one was a formerly expensive
lariat rope that some dippitydoodah
pinhead destroyed trying to pull a
vehicle. Looked to be a pretty top
of the line lariat before they ruined it
