Locked out of HBO reloaded

A couple days ago I tried to get on this site and got a message apparently from Microsoft or some imposter that the site was not safe.  There was more to the message also something about switching to Google instead  Edge or whatever they were using.  I finally started trying to get on here on a tablet instead of a computer.  Well I made it.  I don't know what this is all about or if I will be able to fix it, but right now I have other fish to fry.  Hope to find my way back.  Wish me luck.

There is another thread with much more explanation. It's a certificate issue. We're just as safe as ever but Matt has to pay to renew the certificate and right now he doesn't have the money to do it.

He funds this site from money from his pocket plus what few donations members make. His personal finances are not good at the moment.

I can't get to the site via my computer,  but can reach it on my phone. Anyone have any idea how to access it from my computer. I'm assuming a setting on Chrome that is blocking it.

You have to click through a button called "Advanced" to continue to click through to the site. It warns you that the site may be compromised - but it is NOT.

Trust the science. There is no virus. The site's certificate has expired. Donations accepted 24 / 7 / 365.

I restarted my PC, and saw the advanced option. Through that I got to the site, but I typed a reply here and hit post. It went right back to the screen showing ERR_EMPTY_RESPONCE.  and didn't post my reply. I'm guessing its a setting on my PC, but I removed the website security setting on Chrome and still the same result.

I have also been donating to the site monthly, since Matt indicated the need for funds to kerp it going. I just checked my PayPal and the donation is still being withdrawn

Thanks guys I have renewed the SSL certificate now. The donations allowed me to catch up the server account and renew the certificate. I am looking at ways to monitize the site so that we are not having to ask the members to pay. But until then, again truely... Thank You Guys.

  I had the same problem, and had my son look at it...he said it looked like a website issue..Glad to see it back on line now.

  I thought for a while I may have provoked something by saying in one of my last posts, that I had contributed and will soon again.

  In any case I will be sending Bill a bit more to keep going.  I don't use pay by web..just send some cash.
