Hey Lloyd

No, I can't ride anymore.   :(  I'm still active in the Club, but as a retired member.  I thought of getting a trike, which would take care of the balance problem, but not the fact that I have no depth perception and can't really see well at night.  So, in the interest of keeping myself and Brothers in one piece, I don't ride.

Matter of fact, I don't do much of anything anymore, 'cept go to doctor's appointments.  Heck, I got four in the next 2 weeks just with the VA's doctors.  And they run you all over; one is in Anniston Alabama!  But, I'm the one who made the claim.

Hope you are doing well!

im selling my dodge challenger to the son in law this spring and am buying a new or newer used tri glide. im just not confident enough anymore with the wife along or in heavy traffic. So ill get this thing for when we both ride and keep the fat boy for putting around town and the rural roads. its a 2011 with only 20k on it and is about like new. i picked it up for 6k this spring after i gave up riding and sold the road king to the son in law. that lasted 3 weeks. for the 6k its worth its hardly worth selling even if i just go out and polish it. ill keep it for a couple more years as long as i hold up and probably give it to the granddaughter to put away for the great grandson. my wifes kind of shaking her head. she said if i dump 30k on a bike i dam well better ride it :o. what id really like is one of the road glide 3's but there just as expensive and wouldnt be near as comfortable for her or even me on a long trip. but they still tickle that hot rod part of me. i know what you mean about doctor appointments. monthly calendar on the fridge says this is the first time in a couple years that i have 2 full weeks without a trip to some va doctor or a phone appointment with them. told the wife i can at least use the trike to go to all my doctors appointments. even  ;)said something silly like it would get better fuel economy. she just rolled her eyes up in her head ;)
