For being a model of what it means to live a life of meaning and purpose, a life of principle, faith and humility.

You mean like this says:

Quote
Former Secret Service agents paint a starkly different picture of President Jimmy Carter's character than the one recently praised by President Joe Biden, author and investigative journalist Ronald Kessler revealed Monday on Newsmax.

In an interview on "Finnerty" discussing his book "The First Family Detail," Kessler claimed that Carter was viewed as "the most detested president in modern times" by many Secret Service agents who protected him.

Kessler's view opposes Biden's recent praise of Carter. Following Carter's death at 100 years old, Biden told reporters that Carter exemplified "decency." Biden remarked when asked what President-elect Donald Trump could learn from Carter's legacy, he responded:

"Decency, decency, decency," Biden said. "Can you imagine Jimmy Carter walking by someone who needed something and just keep walking? Can you imagine Jimmy Carter referring to someone by the way they look or the way they talk?"

Kessler dismissed such portrayals as a "total fairy tale" perpetuated by the media. He also drew a parallel to Biden himself, noting reports that Biden allowed his German Shepherds to attack Secret Service agents. "What kind of decent person is that?" he asked.

Kessler cited multiple incidents described by agents to support his belief, contrasting sharply with the public perception of Carter as a paragon of humility and decency.

According to Kessler, Carter would stage photo opportunities to appear relatable but allegedly behaved quite differently once the cameras were off.

"Typically, he would walk around with luggage, pretending he was a member of the common man," Kessler said. "Actually, the luggage was empty. Or, in other cases, he would carry luggage full of clothes in front of cameras, but as soon as they were gone, he'd hand it to aides."

Kessler added that the agents also described Carter as distant and unapproachable.

"He would actually tell Secret Service agents he did not want them to say hello to him on the way to the Oval Office because it was too much bother to say hello back," Kessler said.

One agent who drove Carter for five months and served on his detail for three and a half years said Carter never spoke to him, considering such interactions beneath him.

Kessler alleged Carter's disdain extended to the military. He cited reports that Carter, when visiting his hometown of Plains, Georgia, insisted that the military aide carrying the nuclear football remained at least 10 miles from his residence.

"He hated the military and made derisive comments about them," Kessler said.

He argued that such actions could have jeopardized national security in the event of a nuclear attack, as the delay in accessing the nuclear codes might have left the U.S. vulnerable.

Kessler emphasized that the anecdotes about Carter came from interviews with Secret Service agents, many of whom spoke on the record. These revelations, he said, challenge the narrative of Carter as a universally kind and considerate leader, shedding light on a more complex and controversial legacy.

Or this one:

CNN political commentator Scott Jennings wasted little time in attacking former President Jimmy Carter's legacy, calling him a "terrible president" just one day after the 39th Oval Office occupant died.

"Let me preface my take by offering condolences to the Carter family on his death," Jennings said Monday night on "NewsNight with Abby Phillip." "He was obviously one of the most unique post-presidents we've ever had because he lived so long, and he did so much. That having been said, he was a terrible president.

"That's why he lost in a landslide after his one term, and if it's possible, I think he was even a worse ex-president because of his meddling in U.S. foreign policy, because of his saddling up to dictators around the world, because of his vehement views, anti-Israel views, and more than dabbling in antisemitism over the years," he continued. "He often vexed Democrats. [Former President Barack] Obama didn't even have him speak at his '08 convention. He put [former President] Bill Clinton in a terrible foreign policy box, on a North Korea nuclear issue.

"I think he was a guy who had a huge ego and believed that he was uniquely positioned to do all these things, even after the American people had roundly and soundly rejected his leadership," Jennings added. "So, I respect people who run for president and get elected president, but in his particular case, I think he, time and again, proved why he was never suited for the office in the first place.

Carter died Sunday afternoon at his home in Plains, Georgia, after spending more than a year in hospice care. He was 100 years old at the time of his death.

In a joint statement, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden said that "America and the world lost an extraordinary leader, statesman, and humanitarian" with Carter's death.

"Over six decades, we had the honor of calling Jimmy Carter a dear friend," the statement read. "But, what's extraordinary about Jimmy Carter, though, is that millions of people throughout America and the world who never met him thought of him as a dear friend as well."

Biden has scheduled a state funeral for Carter in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 9 and has declared it a National Day of Mourning across the United States.

President-elect Donald Trump also released a statement mourning Carter's death, in which he said that "the challenges Jimmy faced as president came at a pivotal time for our country and he did everything in his power to improve the lives of all Americans.

"For that, we all owe him a debt of gratitude," Trump added.

Former presidents Obama, George W. Bush, and Clinton also issued statements of their own, as well as various congressional leaders.

There are more lots more. Carter was a useless excuse for a President and not much more useless as a human being. He is best left forgotten.

He was the second worst president in history. You could say that he was the worst, because Biden wasn't elected. He was a counterfeit president.

  Iwill give Jimmy credit for certain attributes that his Democrat presidential successors did not manage very well.

   1) He had a certain humility about him.

   2) He had some decent, conservative values about him.

  3) Once he was turned out of office, he shut up and went home quietly, unlike Hillary of Barack Hussein.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Of course, as a president, he was a rather complete failure, on the order of a Biden, minus the brain degeneration.
  1) He encouraged and allowed the evil Ayatollah gto take over Iran. Must be he figured the Ayatollah to be good for Iran and the world.
  2) He was apparently not a good judge of charachter, since despite his helping the Iranian madman, since the "supreme leader",
    the Ayatollah soon seized the American embassy and staff.
  3) That embassy staff was held prisoner the rest of Jimmy's presidency..444 days, while Jimmy fretted..
  4) Jimmy tried a special ops desert rescue, but since he had cut military budget so severely..those spec ops troops were not able to keep their
     cutting edge training up to their usual standard, and troops died..an dthe operation failed.
  4) I recall breathing a sigh of relief, when with the hostages aboard, an airplane was seen leaving the Teheran airport with the staff aboard...just as
   Ronald Reagan was raising his hand to be sworn in as president.
  5) As with bumbles Biden, nearly as soon as jimmy took office..gas prices spiked and by on/off days, gas was rationed.
  6) Economy wise, interest rates reached 20% per year..  inflation @ 9.9%, making hard earned savings worth about 1/4 their "before Jimmy"
   value.
  7) People began squirming and screaming, but rather than accept his responsibility, Jimmy accused Americans of being caught up in a "malaise"..
  8) Jimmy had a brother Billy (Billy beer)..who somehow became a lobbiest for Ghaddafi's Libya, without being registered for same.
      THere are numerous more inmstances of ineptitude..
    ...To his credit he did broker a peace between Israel and Egypt..
  One point that seems to beindicative of a split persponmality disorder, is his position as a Baptist Sunday school teacher.
  Since it appears he was teaching adults, it was was likely a Bible study class.  I have for years, taught a Baptist Men's Bible study, and still often tyeach yet.
    If I like Jimmy, saw no problem with the abortion holocaust..my students would likely run me out of the classroom...and rightly so !
  Yes, RIP Jimmy.. I believe you truly meant well, but like many Dems, you were incompeteny as president. The PETER PRINCIPLE applies..
  Juist FYI;
       "What is the Peter Principle in simple terms?
Peter Principle - Definition, Factors, and How to Prevent
The Peter Principle states that an employee continues to receive promotions to work in higher ranks up to that point where he reaches a level of incompetence. In simple terms, the higher the hierarchy ladder an individual goes, the more likely he is to fail in his new position."
 I remember the gas lines, interest rates, hostage crisis in Iran because of not backing the Shah of Iran,(which led to the greatest Muslim victory since about 1500), created D. of Energy, and Education. I guess the one good thing he did, was pardon the rabbit that attacked him when he was fishing in a boat.
