Ca. wildfires
« on: January 09, 2025, 03:06:03 AM »
Sure looks like the L.A. area is getting blasted. Several different articles, well over 30,000 people told to evacuate, and some pretty expensive homes being burnt down. They think Hunter Bidens home is one of them. Oh Well!! Several different reasons as to why. Some are blaming the lack of clear cutting, the underbrush has dried out and is being pushed by the winds. But I would think there isn't that much in those type of neighborhoods. But with the wind gusts a day or so ago exceeding 80mph, probably can jump open area's quite easily. Lack of water in the reservoirs and the firefighters are being stopped because of it. And I remember back a few years that they have several desalinization plants along the ocean, but don't have them operating because they say it costs to much to keep them running. Maybe they should quit trying to get a high speed train going, and letting millions of illegals in, and take care of what they have!! (or had).

Well, at least they are doing great things with their diversity, equity, and inclusion... And, California always has Gavin nuisance to fix it...

Their state government probably needs to hire more LGBTQ people to head up, and run their critical services departments.  They got rid of a lot of qualified firemen during covid because they wouldn't submit to the fake vaccine. Wonder how many other qualified people were fired due to not submitting to the fake vaccine? It appears they were all replaced by woke boot kissers that don't have a clue what they are doing.

Newscum has been governor since 2019..and zilch has been done to build the reservoir..guess DEI is more important.  Californians who keep on eledcting Democrats can thank themselves for their losses.  I do mjhavbe sympathy for those Californians who know better and vote better, however..

Perhaps some saw the interview with the LA fire chief, where she said her foremost task as fire chief, was to promote DEI in the department !

  Then I found this article in Front Page Mag;

  https://www.frontpagemag.com/elon-musk-responds-to-frontpage-showing-lafd-is-run-by-3-lesbians-named-kirsten/

Scroll down..2 photos each..  The chief gets $440K and her 3rd in command gets $330K..

..Can't help but wonder what their 3 person staff meetings are like...  :D ;D

Lot of articles coming out, the incompetency of politicians is glaring straight at them. Hopefully, some of these people will be held accountable for direct violation of not doing what might have prevented this. Worried more about diversity and political correctness than doing their real job. Over 17 million cut from the fire dept., hundreds of firemen fired for not taking the vaccine. Water diverted from the reservoirs for saving a fish, smelt of all things. I truly hope, somebody has a pair, and starts putting these idiots in prison, if not more.

Jesse Watters on the Calif. fire. Newsome is claiming they need to stop the disinformation. Watters says that's what democrats do. Screw up then blame their critics, and he is exactly right.

Did you see where the DEI mayor fired the dei fire chief for blaming the mayor? They are both complicit...

Just standard CA wildfires..or is iot another trick to disrupt the Trump administration ?

Yes, it sounds hard to believe..but looking back at 34 felonies over something where noboy complained or was hurt, and anyone else would not have
    been charged.

Then the Russian dossier and the Jan 6 trap..

Throughout their history, we fiond nothing to be beneath the Marxists..  "The end justifies the means"..

Read in The New American, the mayor of LA, Karen Bass has had ties with the Cuban communist party, linked to her years ago. Realized how California is morphing into that kind of state. Remember the original Godfather movie, which was based on fact. Cuba was actually a tourist destination, with the beach's and casino's, many run by the mob, thru the late 50's until Castro took over. But you could go there and have fun and relax! Think of what California was like 30 years ago, and then the liberals/communists/globalists, (pick one or all) came in and screwed it all up. 50's into the 80's it was thought to be a great place to vacation. Not any more!!

Lived there about '80, but never thought it was that great a place to vacation except for my Grandmother and cousins living there. Where did the idea it was a great place to vacation 40-50 years ago come from?

Disneyland, Knott's Berry farm, site's like the Golden Gate Bridge, mountains, Hollywood site's, weather, beach's, Fisherman's Wharf. I can think of a lot of place's 50 years ago that I would have liked to have seen. Get into northern California there are probably still some decent attractions. Wouldn't bother with SoCal anymore. Chicago is closer if I want to see a ghetto.

When I was out there I loved the beaches and being at the time a strong swimmer and avid body surfer those waves were incredible. Also probably the most beautiful women in the world...

I was fortunate to visit all those places , some more than once.
Last time there was in the late eighties.

Disney land I went to , was the one you read about as child, fascinating (Saw George Gobel do a stand-up routine there) Knotts Berry Farm, Golden Gate Bridge were, then, a great place visit.
Fisherman's Wharf and the curviest street in America were a bit over rated.
There are a few Plane, Train or Automobile museums I really would like to see, but what California has turned into is probably more than I could stomach now. :(

The Dems sure have "done a job" on Los Angeles...along with several other of our largest cities...

It would be easy to say.."Well, Californians have done it to themselves..they should have voted with their brains in action."

..But then I must pause to consider that there must be thousands who are greatly pained with the waytheir neighbors vote..

For a brief period, I thought many California politicians, for all their 'education'..were plain stupid.  ..But it becomes more obvious every day
       they have gone beyond stupid!

The only viable explanation I can come up with is pure possession !  Here they are, a state that is suffering extreme financial hardship, by way
of their insane choices..so what do they do?

Do they do the sensible thing ?  H___ no ! They set aside $50,000,000 to spend, throwing roadblocks in the way of recovery from their  brutal,
dictatorial mess...thereby proving (IMO) that they are not acting with normal reasoning....

As Jesse said near the end of his video. It comes done to basic common sense, and the democrats don't have any.
