The Stupor Bowl
« on: February 07, 2025, 08:11:07 AM »
It is amazing how football and the Stupor Bowl have become the god this country is addicted to.
I was a big football fan once but baseball is still one sport I wait for every year.

It seems , although with lack of daily newspaper nowadays so I am not sure, college football has turned their Bowl System, which used to be a holiday season biggy into hustlers money scam as the regional groups of college teams turn into a bad joke.
Big Ten, I think, now has 16 teams from well outside the Midwest.

I am only writing this a supposed news shows, on ANY network are babbling about the Stupor Bowl OFTEN.

Haven't watched a game since what's his name took a knee.
I quit watching the National Felons League before
that happened, along with other games.
I used to watch pretty regularly before Emperor Jones
came along, and when Tom Landry was there.
He wouldn't put up with the crap that the felons do
during their off hours.
If one of the players got into a legal fix that made the
news, you'd eventually been sitting across the desk
from him as he asked you- " well now that you no
longer play for this team, what do you plan on doing
now  ?"
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I started getting involved in watching football, back in the 1970s..  the years when Roger Stauback and Fran Tarkenton were the big guns..

I was working 6 days, long hours..and had church on Sunday.. Then one Sunday afyernoon,I realized I was wasting many hours when I could be
doing worthwhile things around home..so I quit ..cold turkey...

Watched one stupor bowl when Namath led the Jets to a win.  Never watched any other games.  Football season was rabbit hunting season.  Now football only serves to raise my cost of living by the team owners and sponsors raising the prices on the goods they sell.
