I ALWAYS check the seller's location, and reputation, but, at that, the few items that came from China, OFTEN , arrived in less time that those from the U.S.A. in a location only hundreds of miles away.
IF , the item from China does not say -FREE RETURNS - think twice and then think again.
IF some thing does not arrive, in the time stated in the add, contact Ebay immediately and cancel the transaction.
I bought a collectors coin two years ago; it did not arrive, I filed a complaint and my money was refunded. About six months later, the coin arrived and it cost me nothing.
I bought a 100 dollar , chain saw bar, and the box arrived empty, I raised unholy hell, and got my money back.
One has to read the fine print and not, wait and see. If one gets on their case, the one will usually come out on top.
I am amazed at how much business I have done on Ebay, but I think that fact is one reason , I no longer have problems, that do not get solved.
