They tell it like it is, they are not in the pockets of any of the manufactures
and they test acording to the type of gun whether it be rifle- pistol-shotgun

I too subscribe and love it.  The expressly go out of their way to point out anything that could resemble a negative.  But in the end they tell ya wether they would buy it or leave it.

longwinters - they put out a pretty darn good publication, and as oso45-70 mentioned - they're not in anyone's hip pocket.  They tell it like it is and I find them to be factual and honest - painfully so for some name brand manufacturers, but factual and honest.  It is worth the subscription cost.  I've read them for years and they have helped me advise others on these forums.  HTH.  Mikey.
