Any one ever shoot prairie dogs late summer? Say late august or early september. I've always gone early and was Just wondering if the shooting is any good late in the year. KN

I used to hunt a town almost year round. It was really close to my house.
The late summer shooting was just as good as spring shooting other than your targets are now bigger.

out on the farm i go just about year round and I like to mix it in with deer and antelope hunting seasons..........as long as the sun is shining it doesn't seem to matter much. Like Warf said by end of August they look like little Buddhas.
