Shot size for a 870 exp. su mag 12ga.

Wat is the shot size u guys think is the best. I herd the Remington HEvi shot is the best but wat size 4,5,6,. Thanks :shock:

Hi the Best Shot size i like is what my gun will shoot the best i hunt with a REM SP 10ga with a custom choke it was made to shoot Win High V 5's 2'oz of shot and i also shoot a Super 90 Benilli with a custom choke made for the Win High V 5's 1 3/4oz  too and that 20 yrds it is like shooting a slug at a tukery the pattern is so little and at 40 yds it makes a dead kill u dont have to run to your turkey and have to put your foot on it's head because it is dead

HEY, IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR CHOKE, BUT EVERYTHING I HAVE TRIED THE SIXES OUTPERFORM THEM ALL, ITS ASHAME YOU CANT BUY A SAMPLE PACK OF DIFFERENT SHELLS AND CHOKES TO TRY OUT TO GET THE BEST PATTERNS, CAUSE IT CAN GET EXPENSIVE, BUT I HAVE A 3 INCH 870 AND IT HAS A HASTINGS 665 CHOKE AND IT PERFORMS BEST WITH WINCHESTERS DOUBLE-X HIGH VELOCITY SHELLS WITH NO. 6 SHOT.
