Gettin' excited....
« on: March 28, 2004, 05:56:21 PM »
Hello all :D  Sent in my .270 reciever about a month ago for a bc 45-70, .243 varmint/ultra, and a .50 muzzleloader.  The way I figure it there is no land mammal safe in the world from now on.  Have been reloading 223 and 270 for a little while now and have had lots of luck and great fun doing it.  Can't wait to get my hands on these new calibers.  How does one handle the anticipation?????

By looking at the Shot Gun News, and figuring out what to buy next, of course!

I've come to find that it's all about meditation in reading about the loads I can build and the brass I need to buy.  Also guess what my new load of 40grain Hornady v-max break the 400 fps mark with 315 grains of H335.  Yes, good times are to be had.  The p-dogs don't stand a chance with that and the planned loads of 58 grain v-max loads going the same speed.  All by the book too, nice.   Speed + mass = splattered calicos....
