Keith-Lyman 454424 bullet
« on: April 05, 2004, 10:23:21 AM »
Hello to all!......Does anyone out there know if any commercial bullet manufacturer offers this one? I'd like to try it but don't have the equipment or the desire, for that matter, to cast my own. I've checked a few on the internet & altho they offer semi-wadcutters, they're not a genuine Keith style. I'm looking for the real McCoy. Is there a problem with ownership of the design or something? I appreciate your feedback. jd45.

dont know who has them for sale but if your shooting a Ruger youd be better off with the 452424 the .454 bullets are mostly used in colts Two places to check though are Creeker bullets (hes on this forum) and mount baldy bullets. I beleive both cast a true keith .45 bullet it may not be the lyman bullet though.

I actually could use the 452424 as both my AWA Peacekeeper & Uberti 1873 Sporting rifle have tight bores (.451-.452) & my revolver has .452 free-bores in the chambers. Thanx for the info, jd45.
