What do you plant in your foodplots to attract turkey. I'm thinking of trying chufa.

Turkeys diet is mostly insects and acorns. They will also eat berrys. Perhaps some kind of fast growing berry bush? I've seen them in corn fields but I don't know if that's what they were after. Try contacting the NTWF they spend time developing habitat.

Chufa would be the best...it has a nut on the root system...like a peanut
turkeys love it...they also love corn...In NC you can bait...they flock
to our corn feeders...flintlock

Turkeys love chufas, and any foodplot planted with chufas will always have turkeys coming to them. However, wild hogs will ruin a chufa patch; so, if you have hogs in the area, chufas may not be what you want.
