Side Lever

Does the side lever on the RWS 48/52/54 make it faster to cock and load?  It seems like you would have less motion,    :?

Nope. They load differently, but not quicker. You can't hurry the loading process. If you try to do it too fast you can end up bending the cocking lever. There is also the anti-beartrap safety that needs careful attention. You really don't want one of these to close suddenly on your fingers, it will take them right off.
