wal-mart 25-06
« on: April 01, 2004, 10:46:37 AM »
I went to my wal-mart store today to buy a standard handi in 25-06.  I knew I would have to order it but that was ok.  The guy at the store told me that the 25-06 was not listed it their catalog, and I could not order it.   Is this the way it is or do I need to try something else.

I have looked at the Wal-Mart store ordering catalog.  They only carry about 40% of the models in the NEF catalog and only the most common calibers.

It all depends on which Wal-Mart you go to and who is working....<><.... :(

I did go to sports-south and make sure they had them.  I told wal-mart that but he didn't want to hear it.  I have another wal-mart to try.

None of the Wal-Marts around here have their 2004 special order books yet. I don't think they have issued them to any of the stores yet. You can go to this link and download the catalog to see.

Go here and enter H&R 1871 in Super Search to see if the gun you want is in stock there.
http://www.internetguncatalog.com/results.asp
Write the stock number down they use for your gun and when you go to Wal-Mart ask them to call Sports South and let you speak to them(I did this and the man I spoke to said they could send any NEF gun they listed to Wal-Mart to sell) If they won't let you talk to Sports South ask to see the special order catalog and write the 1-800 number down and call them yourself or find another Wal-Mart. Don't give up, I just recently got a synthetic 30-06 from them for $212.00 out the door.
