LookinÂ’ to swap a
steel birdÂ’s head grip frame with one-piece wood grips, currently on a Uberti Regulator .44 Special (see pics). Need
a traditional steel grip frame and set of wood grips to put on my Uberti. My grip frame has some slight bluing wear, and the grips have some shallow dings. Planning to use this as my "walkin' around" gun here on the place with stout loads and 250 grain Keith bullets, and those loads are a bit punishing with the bird's head grip. Had no problems, however, with cowboy loads.
