Is this where the ex-marlin talk members ended up?
« on: February 27, 2004, 02:00:50 PM »
Is this where all the members of the Marlin Talk forum ended up? I was surpised that it was shut down. Just check in please to let me know which members came here to rest.
By the way, Thank you to Graybeard for giving us a place to go. The old Marlin Talk forum had a wealth of information available from its' members, and I'm glad to have a place to go

Hi,

A lot of us went to http://www.marlinowners.com/
Many thanks to Graybeard and other sites that welcomed us in our time of need.

Howdy,
Yes, too bad the Marlin site shut down. There was a wealth of information and help to be found. I was on the Graybeard site before, and glad it has a Marlin section. I have not been to the Marlinowners site yet.

GB's is a great forum, and although I'm sorry MT was shutdown, it has gotten me to look at other places. I was a member here for sometime before the end, but I like the fact that GB has opened up the site for us to feel more welcome.

The old Marlin site was a great place to check in at the end of each day. Lots of good information, and spirited discussions. The members of the old Marlin Board are dispersed among a number of sites, but, I think most of them check in here from time to time. This has become my regular site. Graybeard offers a lot more forums than the old Marlin site ever did. I love my Marlins, but I'm also into cap n ball revolvers, single actions, muzzleloaders, black powder cartridge, and a host of others. This site is tailor made for me, and the folks here are both knowledgeable and friendly. Best of all, they know how to deal with trolls.

Softpoint-I have been here for quite a while, just shorly after I joined Marlin Talk.Myself,I like to go to acouple of places and learn. This is certainly a good one and Marlin Owner's is another.I have room for more than one forum to get more opinion's and experiences.

Glad to see this one starting to work again as it was driving that guy(bestlever) from Oregon, crazy as you can see in his post. You have to admire him tho,if know one will talk to him,He just talks to himself and has fun doing it.

Best of luck.Jayco.
I didn''t do it and whoever said I did is lieing!!

Hello, ex-MT folks, Papajohn here.  I have been to a BUNCH of other sites, but this one is my new favorite, hands down.  Good folks, good moderators, lively discussions, and few aspiring trolls.  I think I'll move my recliner in here and stay awhile!
