CAMO Painting Your Firearm??
« on: April 11, 2004, 12:41:13 AM »
now i have not tried this as of yet, but a friend of mine went out and got a set of camo spray paint to do his turkey gun, NO i am not touching my NWTF 12ga. but i do have an older 870 wingmaster that is showing the years a bit, and i was thinking maybe a good coat of woodland camo might be a good idea. but i wanted to find out if other people have done this kind of thing, and how did it work out for you???? i would hate to camo it, and have it not come out good, as this is one of the best all around shotguns i have ever owned, and would hate to make it look dumb. so has anyone had good or bad luck doing this????

Hey VC I've neve done it but have considered it my self.I read some interestin ideas/techniques on www.snipershide.com. Do a search for camo. There was this thing a guy did with cheesecloth and several colors of spray paint that looked pretty cool.

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun
