Ed's TCs is a sponsor to this site.  Has anyone dealt with ED's?  I sent an email 3 days ago and have not heard back.  I just noticed his web site was last updated July 2003.  Is he still in business?

Ed is very much in business.  He doesn't update his web site very often, as you've discovered, but he is usually pretty prompt about answering email.  Give him a call and he'll help you out.  He's a great guy.

I have bought 4 maybe 5 barrels 4 sets of dies.Never a problem he is one of the best guys to deal with. :)

Ed did a big gun show in Tulsa last Thurs., Fri., Sat. and Sunday and being a CPA by profession he's now right in the middle of his busiest time of the year.......keep trying.

I just purchased a new barrel from him and had it in 5 days. Talked to him on the phone a few times and he has been very helpful. I'd do business with man any time!

I just called him last night and ordered a forend.  I actually got hold of him at the evening number which is pretty rare.  I almost always call his daytime number and have no trouble getting him.  I e-mailed him a couple of times and he got back to me, but I have a friend who e-mailed him and never heard back.  Makes you wonder about e-mail sometimes, I like the personal touch (telephone).

By the way, he is great to do business with.  Great prices and service.  Last time I counted I have bought 6 barrels, 3 scopes and a couple forends from him in the last couple of years.  He gets all my business.

I have not bought anything yet from Ed, but I sent him and email asking for an updated list of his goods and he sent me an email the next day and followed up with a list in the mail an few days later.  

He will definitely get my business in the future.    :grin:

Me too. . . .

About a month ago I ordered a bare Encore frame from him.  Best price going.  I recently picked up a used Contender from a local dealer and decided I needed a 10" 22LR barrel.  After browsing the on-line auction sites and being disappointed from the high prices of used barrels, I decided to try Ed again.  Ended up with a new barrel and forearm for a great price.

I too e-mailed him a cuple of times w/ no response.  He does answer the phone though . . . better to go that route.

I just ordered a SS Super 14 Match Grade .22 LR Barrel and a Rynite Super 16 Forend from Ed last week. It came in the mail yesterday. I've e-mailed Ed a couple times and received an answer once. Phone was much quicker and also gives a person an opportunity to talk to a really nice guy.

Received my 414 supermag barrel from Ed today, he must have mailed it the day I ordered.

Now to search my manuals for load data.

I just ordered a barrel and stock set from Ed on Thursday afternoon, day before Good Friday, and I got them in the mail on Monday!  Shipped from OK to WI.  4 days counting Easter weekend!  And he only charged $11 shipping.  How can you beat that????

from him in my day(I hav'nt bought much for the last year or so as I have been in hospital) But I was always pleased with the barrels I bought from him and he was fast and efficent and everything arrived quickly and was always as described. As long as Ed has what I want I will buy from him if for some reason he don't carry it or doesnt have then I will check other used barrel dealers.
