Good tripods?
« on: April 24, 2004, 04:47:44 AM »
I recently bought a Leica 62 spotting scope and need a tripod that I can I can use from the bench or prone.  It should have a good base that is not 'tippy'.

Any brands or models would be appreciated.  Also, a tripod for hunting.

Thanks

I use the Bushnell Shooter's Stand tripod for my prone/bench work. I really like the micro-elevation adjustments (especially on my Yukon 100x spotting scope). HTH...

To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.
