« on: April 14, 2004, 03:26:16 PM »
I am just about to start dipping my 330s tonight. The northern lakes, while still frozen ,should be breaking loose soon.
I was wondering if any of you other Northern trappers are still on the beaver trail?

Tell you what Asa,I got more atta boy PM's than I can count;you are a well respected man.
I have zero mechanical knowledge so I have good mechanics and scrap men's #'s.......I made a total of 3 calls, and 2 of those were to you.
Glad I could help, hope it works out good.
If these roads dont dry up pretty soon;I'm done with beaver.

Just pulled the line on Sunday. Season closes today, but we have until the 31st on designated trout streams only. Evidently the fishermen would rather not share the river as I lost 2 beaver, 2 swampmaster stands, and 2 new Belsiles on the last check.

Still going strong, Tom.  But it is a good chance that this weekend will be the last for me.  Who knows?

Yes sir boss bog I sure am after them beaver.
Need me unlimited castor supplys for next year. For my lure making and such! So far I spent  three tank fulls of gas driving the roads looking, but the Beavers have been lucky I guess. So far no road kills. Don't know how they do it.   Knife
