If you want to PP, swaging is the way to go. you can swage pure lead with better results then casting pure lead. You know,I'm sure,you been casting for a while,when casting pure lead it's hard to get a good mould fill with out voids and good edges unless you get the lead temp just right.
Swaging PP bullets you will get a very perfect bullet in weight and dementions with different styles of ogives or designs if your using pure lead or a little harder 1-30 or 1-25 for hunting.
I use boath GG and PP and I reshape and true up GG bullets by swaging.
You can punch out PP bullets a lot faster then you can cast them.
I swage .40 and .45's
