Vintage Ben Pearson Recurve Bow
« on: April 24, 2004, 01:23:05 PM »
Hey there, Is there any one who might help me out? Recently, I obtained an old Ben Pearson Recurve bow. The elder gentle man who sold it to me said that he got when he was in his twenties, back in the 1950s. The bow has writing on the side: Cat. 974, Length 5'6", Serial# J.98, 50 @ 28". The bow has the original string and arrow rest on the shelf. The bow is wood with fiber glass laminate. I was wondering if the bow was a collectable? Thanks Maine Mike

Well to be honest with you. Every Bow from that era is a collectable but
Seems like every one of use had a favorite bow back, then and wants to pick one up that is just like the one they valued. this would make it a collectable I am sure there is some one out there who like to have the one you just aqquired.
