25/06 w/ heavy bullets

Anyone have any experience with a 25-06 factory Encore barrel with 100 - 120 grain bullets? If so, what powder are you using? What are the groups and velocity like.  What bullets are you using. Thanks

I shoot 100 gr'ers in mine with IMR 4831 and get very good groups.  I have also shot 120 gr factory loads with good luck.  Mine likes powder charges that are up near the maximum.

Chris,

It is the 26" heavy barrel.  My wife gave it to me for my birthday last year.  I know you did not ask who gave it to me, but when you have a good women you need to brag on her.
