Lawdog, have you considered getting some sweet custom wood
« on: June 20, 2004, 04:59:24 AM »
for that $120 1377? some nice walnut or maybe a laminate since it sits in the barm? Bloodwood/oak laminate is both beautful as well as functional. Photos please of your custom 1377 if you don't mind?
Thanks sounds like a really sweet gun.
I have a custom made 1322 which was made from an older model 1377(plastic sliding breech and cocking button) What was done was that a complete Mac-1 preped 2250 top end was put onto the 1377 bottom end. This made a 1322 with a 15" barrel, with extended bolt probe, and recrowned barrel, and a bolt action with seporate cocking mech. The previous owner (I bought it used) told me he was getting 600 fps @ 10 pumps with the gun. Not bad for a 22 pump. It came as a pistol but didnt stay that way long. I added the stock(Crosman 1399 acessory stock) and didnt look back. Now its one of the only two .22caliber pumps I own(the other is a beautful completely restored Crosman model 101.  It's even more powerful than the 1322!)
