Is the scope rail on my new sporster a weaver style? I have ordered
it and want to know what rings to buy.Thanks.

yep! It takes any "weaver style" rings. Same base as the centerfire rifles, slug guns, etc.

I have the Burris Signature "high" rings on all of my Sportsters. They work great and look great too. The height is required for the hammer to clear the scope, not for the objective lense to clear the barrel.
