tracker 41 mag/45 colt snub ?'s
« on: April 25, 2004, 06:10:22 PM »
well guys been gone for a while.I bought a 45 colt snub and am totally happy with it.bought for a carry gun and it does shoot well.7 and 10 meters dead center with 250 gr lfp w/ 8.0 gr's unique.
I picked up a tracker 41 mag from a friend that has a tax problem w/16 rd's fired thru it.the price was right so I picked it up.I haven't shot it yet but some post's here has me wondering  ....will try and get out to the range this week.

made it out to the range today with the taurus tracker 41 mag.shooting off a rest at 25 meters I was able to print some 2 inch or less groups.I LIKE this one good shooter.
best groups came using 2400 and my cast 210 gr swc .412 bullet.serious fire balls out of the 4 inch barrel but the ribber grips really worked well taking care of the recoil.
after reading the threads here about the lack of QC I was a bit worried glad I got a good one.

Taurus .41s'
I have 2 Taurus .41RemMags, a 425SGH4C and a 416SS6. The 425 is my primary CCW gun and the 416RB is one of my go to hunters. Like to carry it for piggys. The 425 is one of only two .41s that don’t ware scopes. I found my Taurus revolvers to be well made. tight, and very good shooters. The 425 is very manageable even with hunting loads. Usually loaded with a mid-range 215g/Bullseye lead load for carry duty.
Love those .41s'
