I decided I was going to buy one gun this year...a thumbhole Omega, a Glock .40, or a Rem 700 VS .308. The latter two were the more expensive as a CCW application was a co-requirement for the Glock. The .308 would have been a fun-only choice as I can't hunt with it here. I decided I'd look into an Omega at least, since buying one right now would be the only time that would give me enough range sessions to be comfortable with it by fall.
Well, the big Cabela's in Dundee, MI had ONE in stock...guy says they can't keep them on the shelves long. I used the safety concerns about my old Traditions as leverage with the wife-to-be and it was a done deal.
I'm going to top it with a Leatherwood In-Liner and see if it lives up to all the hype.
The looks and feel are impressive. However advertising that it has a 28-inch barrel is BS, muzzle to primer isn't even 28 inches!
