Pachmayr fore-ends
« on: May 03, 2004, 10:17:03 AM »
Hi folks:

I like the looks of the Pachmayr grips and fore-end for the Contender but I do not own a set.  Currently, the barrels that I have for the Contender are a 14" 30-30 Win and a 10" 30 Herrett both made by Bullberry.  Both of these barrels are full-bull barrels.  My question is this:  Does the Pachmayr fore-end work with Bullberry's hanger bar system?

Thanks in advance.... :D

Yes, if you double flip the Bullberry bar (swap end for end and rotate 180 degree's).
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

the pachmayr forends are 7" long and I like them myself especually for the heavy kickers. There is also a custom wood worker that makes custom wooden forends in the same design as the pachmayr design. He can make them out of any wood he uses for any of his other designs.
I just can't remember his name I think its georgia jims but I could be wrong somebody should be able to give you the correct name and web address.
