My heart go's out to Scott Newman and hope he makes it ok. Thats the sad facts of guiding, You never know how much your hunter knows about his ability to shoot or act in a situation like this. There are plenty of people that can sit at a shooting table and put their shoots in a tite group, but in situation such as running into a bear head on some times brings out the rabbit in them. In 1965 we had run this black bear up a hill to a bluff and the bear started back down the hill and my hunter got scared and threw
his rifle at the bear and the bear ran rite past him, So you never know what people will do in a panic situation, Did'nt mean to get on a tangent.
I do hope Scott comes out of it OK.......Joe............
