Hi guys and gals.New here 1st time.Does anyone have a load for the 32cal.?.Great little squrell gun.Just cant get any info on a load.The load dosent have to be hot just accurateout to 50yds.Thanks a lot for your time in advance.This is a great site,i have learned a lot reading all the back posts.pan

Did you call T/C for an owner's manual? You might have more luck in the Traditional forum, as I'm guessing (just guessing) that you have a 1:66 round ball gun. Loads are in Lyman, p. 146 and 147.

You didn't say with what powder, but as an example-- 50 gr. Pyrodex P is 2237 fps MV with: 45 gr. RB .310" dia., CCI #11 cap, and an Ox-Yoke pre-lubed .010" patch (assuming a 26" 1:66 barrel).

I had a TC Cherokee in .32 cal. and it liked the .310 roundball with patch and 15 to 25 grains of pyrodex P. Hit dead center everytime, but I couldn't hit a squirrel to save me. :cry:

I sold it to buy my first in-line and still wish I had it today.  She was alot of fun to shoot.

If I remember right it had a 1:30 inch twist.  TC also made a System-1 in .32 caliber and maybe the Seneca in .32 caliber, not sure about that though. (I have seen the Seneca in .36 and .45 cal.), but don't know much about them.

If you have the Cherokee keep it, as TC doesn't make them anymore and it will be a collectors item if they aren't already.

I like the small bores!  One load that has always worked for me in about 1/2 dozen different rifles:
A #0 buckshot ball, thin patch, lightly lubed and 20-30 grains of 3F GOEX.   The patching should be just thick enough to require a medium force to seat the ball; I use some old pillow cases (.007 inch thick).  A quick swipe of the patch material with Chapstick will provide ample lube.  

If your loads are supersonic at the muzzle (you'll hear the "crack"),  your best accuracy may be with keeping the loads supersonic at the target.  In other words, if you have good short range accuracy but it start to fall apart with distance, try increasing the charge.  

Cast and/or swaged balls in .310 and .315 diameters work fine, but the buckshot is soooo much cheaper.  Just be sure and match the patch thickness to the ball.   Rolling papers can be used as shims between the patch material and ball to fine tune the thickness.

My only experience with conicals in the 32 was 32 cal. hollow base wadcutter bullets meant for a 32 centerfire pistol.  I used a single wrap of masking tape as a paper patch.  I had to run them pretty hard (40-50 grains) of powder to get good accuracy.  

You're going to like that 32....

If you have a T/C .32 in-line then it probably is the System 1. My owners manual lists a staring load of 30grs FFFG/Pyrodex P and a max of 50grs.

My sidelock Traditions .32 has a max load of 30 grs.
The system 1 is very accruate to the 40yd distance I have tried. Also the System 1 is 1:48. (If I remember correctly) Someone help me out on that.

If you actually want to shoot squirrel and rabbits and not destroy meat try lower loads like 10-15 grains.

The T/C System 1 .32 Cal does have a 1:48 twist.  Mine shoots very well with 35 grains of Pyrodex P.  I have some of the .32 maxiballs from Blue Grouse but are probably a little much for squirrels at 110 grains each.  T/C also made the Firehawk in-line in .32 Cal which is a neat little gun.
