The bullet construction will hold up to the fastest speed that can be obtained with a 454. 30.5 grains of H110 is about as much powder that can be compressed without causing problems (bullet jump) when the bullets are seated to the cannelure. I don't remember the speed, I can run some across a chronograph if you are interested.
A few years ago I took a "Texas heart shot" on a wounded Sika running away at 140 yards, the BPB entered at the base of the tail, traveled through about 5" of backbone and stopped under the hide of the brisket. The bullet was completely intact and had expanded to somewhere around 1.1". Pedals peeled back just like in the magazine ads.
I've shot several feral hogs with this same load, but have never recovered a bullet.
