Well..Ah dunnit!

Ah Finally broke down and bought a .45 lever gun!  Been usin a "38-22" for a couple years along with my .45 Remmies.

Been lookin to buy a .45 fer a while and suddenly found two of them, both priced right where I was willing to pay! One was a 24" barrel Rossi with a color cased action. The other a Rossi Carbine, Plain Jane style. The 24 incher was advertized as NIB but it has the safety lever/button thingy, so I went with the carbine on accounta I plan to shoot NCOWS this year too and they don' allow the newfangled safety gadgets. I know, I know..I could have removed it...but I din' wanna spend the time 'n effort to do the smithin werk! (lazy turd, ain't I? )

So, now Ah gotta start figgerin out a new load fer my BP carbine rounds!    YEEEEEEEHHHHAAAWWWW! 8)

Congratulations Cuts it ain't often you find one for what ya want to pay!!  I had one of those carbines, nice gun but someone wanted it more than I did and made me one of those offers ya just can't refuse.  I put a few dollars with that and picked up a '73 from a friend that was gettin gout of cowboy shootin.  My son still has his in 357 that he swears by!  Gotta admit it is a good shooting little gun.  I like your choice, i really like the carbine in  those '92's!!!

You gonna hafta sleep on the sofa tonight, or will your wife let you bring it to bed with you!!??   :-D

Well Cuts I hate to throw water on your fire, but that Rossi with the new fangled safety thing is NCOWS legal. The Congress voted it in almost two years ago.  Just in case you see another one you might need to add to your collection.

Hope to see you at a NCOWS shoot this year. If you see a green wagon with "Pickle Express" on the side that'l be me.

Cuts, are yuh gonna inside neckream those .45 cases to make'um seal? BP fouling is bad about blowing back into the actions on .45 rifles which is why Winchester never built'em in that cal. back in tha day. Just wondering.
