working on a project piece and need to know..........Will a new model Single six grip frame fit my older three screw single six .22

Ive seen it done but it takes opening the new model frame up for the trigger return spring and plunger and fabricating a piece to hold the plunger.

Thanks, Lloyd I guess I'll try to find a new "old model " grip frame for my 'ole .22 Single Six.

old army grip frame should work too.

The only drawback to using the readily available Old Army gripframe is they have a wide trigger slot requiring use of a not so available O/Model SBH trigger. Also the O/Model s-six and 357 cylinder frames are considerably smaller than the bigbores. Frames became a uniform size in the 90,s. Surely someone out there has a spare they would part with.
