Savage 22H/12 ga
« on: May 19, 2004, 02:40:56 PM »
Hello everyone ,

Thinking of getting into fox /coyote calling here in western NY and have a chance to pickup an older savage 22 hornet over 12 ga and was curious if anyone has any experience using one. Seems like it would be ideal but would like to hear all pros and cons about this gun
Thanks
Jim

Sounds like you have a mod. 24 sav. I have had a few of the 24s and they are pretty good all around guns. Good if you are in a area where you might find birds and rabbits or squirrels as well as coyotes and fox. You have the best of two worlds in one gun. Good luck Jim..........Joe.........
