Has anyone done any business with "Ole Georgia Jim's"?  He makes custom TC Contender replacement Stocks.  Just wondering if his work is good and is he good to do business with.

Thanks, Mike

I know of a group that use only GJ stocks. And these guys take there pistols very serious. Now if that is worth anything, well I trust these fellows. Plan on getting a GJ when my 30-40 AI gets here.

I purchased forend from him for my contender a couple of months ago, and  have been very pleased with it. I had him make it to accept the VV hanger bar.

Ole Georga Jim is a great feller makin' great Contender grips and forends.  He makes 'em at a real reasonable price too!  I'd not hesitate to do business with him again.

James is a real gentleman. He made a forearm for me from dimensions I sent him via E-mail. Turned out great. How many guys this day and age would make a product for some guy they don't know sending numbers via E-mail? Will order from him again.

I can't wait till he starts working on G2 grips.  His work is beautiful.

Does anyone know of a place that has replacement grips for the G2?

I have one of his forends for my Encore with hanger bar and it's extremely nice and well done. 8)

I would DEFINITELY buy from him again and recommend him without reservation.

Besides he's a gentleman and a great guy.

James is one of the good guys!

I received my grip (Jim's Big Boy) and two forend (Target Style), one 10" and one 14" model.  All in Brown/Brown Laminate.  What can I say, they are GREAT!   Installed grip, fit perfect.  Installed forend on a 10" 414 Super Mag.  I will take some photos and post when I get some time.
