As some of you know, I'm interested in getting a CZ 452 American in either .22WM or .22LR.

I've kinda narrowed the choice of scopes down to the Leupold Compact 3x-9x-33mm AO gloss, but I don't know what rings are available.

I understand that this rifle is not drilled and tapped like most centerfires. Rather, it has a 3/8 groove.

What scope mounts do you guys recommend - preferably in a gloss finish?

Most folks at RFC recommend the BKL 257. Another stouter choice would be the B-Square 3/8" to weaver adapter and Burris Signature Zee rings.

A lot of rimfire scopes come with 3/8" mounts with the scope.

Take a look at the Millet angle-loc .22 rings. They come in matte, gloss, and engraved gloss. I got the best price from Midsouth Shooters.

Burris makes the Signature rings for the 3/8" rimfire rail that's on most rimfire guns. It only comes in "high" height, though, so that may be too high for your purposes depending on your scope choice. The Burris part number for the gloss black version is 420555.
