trigger pull on a browning BLR 22
« on: January 13, 2003, 07:19:48 AM »
:(

I have the same concern.

I purchased this gun at a show.  A beautiful gun.  The action is what sold me.  so short and smooth.  That was until I put ammunition in the gun.  On the range I was very disappointed.  The trigger release was stiff, not what I thought I bought.

Try shooting it a while guys and maybe the trigger will work its self in and be smoother. I know a lot of triggers right out of the box are not great but I would shoot it a bit to see if it smoothes out. The trigger in my Henry 22 mag breaks well but does have a bit of a creep but it works well enough out of the box I shot a 3 shot group 5/16 at 25 yards the forst time I took it out and I feel a bit more shooting will wear the trigger in more and it will be better yet. I would give it a chance before I spent money on a trigger job if one can even be done on that type of trigger. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
