Want handheld that will show heading at a slow walk

My trusty old Garmin GPS 12 works great except when stillhunting at a slow creep it will not register your heading. What units can do this? I have to use a compass along with the GPS to stillhunt back to my truck. Get the heading off the compass.

If you mean stillhunting as minutes between steps then nothing will.
You learn something new everyday whether you want to or not.

Most GPS units require about a 2 MPH moving speed for the compass to work. The Magellan SporTrak Pro will read out while moving at .5 MPH. There are also units that have a built in electronic compass that reads out while stationary. They are considered by most to be battery eaters. I use my Magellan STP and also carry a good compass. It works for me.  MI VHNTR

Garmin rino 130 has a built in electronic compass that will give you the direction the gps is pointing.
