6.8 Rem SPC in Contender Rifle?
« on: March 29, 2004, 08:45:00 PM »
Does anyone know if the 6.8 Rem SPC could be fit into a Contender Rifle barrel?  I think I saw something about it maybe being offered.  Would it be offered from T/C or from Fox Ridge.  I was thinking maybe this caliber in the Contender for my girlfriend to hunt deer with, something like a 20" bull barrel and Leupold 2x7 scope from Fox Ridge, I hope.  I think this would be better for her than a 30-30 since I don't reload.

In case anyone cares, guns and ammo quoted someone from t/c as saying that they are looking at introducing the 6.8 rem spc in the contender.  that should mean that fox ridge will carry it for sure.
