If you are completely new to bows and bowhunting I would stay away from a mail order bow. Check out your phone book and find the nearest proshop. They will help you with choosing the right bow for you and also set it up properly with the correct arrows and accessories. Most proshops have shooting lanes.  There they will help you sight the bow in and give you pointers on technique and form.
There is a lot to learn when just getting into the sport. I have no problems with people doing stuff for themselves but, in my opinion, the first time out it is to your advantage to learn the right way to do things from a knowledgable proshop.
Good Luck and Welcome to the sport!

Welcome aboard!!
I would stay away from a "KIT".Get the same bow and then get toe accessories that you need.Kits have the low end stuff with them. You can get the better rest and sight  for the same money or little more.
Get as good as you can afford.A good rest is money well spent, a poor rest is grief.look at the bows before you buy!! and shoot one first.
Single and double cam bows are both easy to setup and tune.Bows with wheels are obsolete.
When someones is selling a "Starter" bow  that should tell you that it is old technology and next year you will be looking for a new bow.
Check the Champion bows out. They have excellent bows at the low end of the price range and they perform with the best.
They are also a lifetime warranty Bow.
Good luck.
