the grips are ivory micartas that Dustin Linebaugh made for my new .500 and the scimshaw was by Twyla Taylor (Jims wife) she does excellent work and is about half the price of most scimshawers. You can contact her at jbart@netfocus.net or 4174664119

John sent me the grips said the gun should be done to pick up at the seminar in two weeks. I delt with enough of the custom smiths to know not to hold my breath.

As far as I know mine is still NIB. I've talked with John twice over the last year. Once when I sent the gun and once in January. He's a very interesting guy to talk to.

I really wanted to make the sminar this year but DOT audits at work hit during that time.

Be Well,
