does anyone know of a control fed 280 remington rifle? right now i am thinking of getting a 70 featherweight and having a smith put a280 barrel on it. i know there is not any real difference between a 280 and a 270 but i have room for only one more centerfire and col whelen wrote an article long ago if he were to have one rifle made up it would be a 280. slightly better down range ballistics and sectional density.
Good Hunting and shooting,
anthony

Anthony,
You could have one made up on a Mauser action but the idea you have would work. Have you checked out the Sako? or the parker Hale, I'm sure you could find a CRF rifle some place. Good luck.........Joe......
