lik2hunt, they are notorious for dinging up stocks on the return trip which are sent in with receivers, but as far as I know they have always made it good by replacing the ruined stock. You would really think they would have learned to pack things correctly for the return trip!!!. I have an old wood buttstock I use in one of my barrel/receiver configurations that I always use to send in with a receiver when I get a barrel or factory work done. The last time in (for one of the LAST .357 barrels sold!) I sent it in with the wooden buttstock and a non matching synthetic forearm. They sent it back with the forearm to tight on the barrel and not fitting the barrel at all. They must have known that was not the "furniture" that would be used with the gun....<><.... :grin:
