Tikka T3 Lite Stainless/Synthetic .338
« on: May 15, 2004, 10:26:50 AM »
Hey all-

I am looking at the Tikka T3 Lite Stainless/Synthetic chambered in .338 Win Mag. Taking into serious consideration purchasing this rifle next week -- I have heard great reviews about it, and I think I would enjoy it.

I would like to know if any of you have first hand experience with the rifle -- How do you like it? How was it accuracy wise for you? Would you reccommend it?

I look forward to hearing from you  :D

I have the T3 light in 30-06.  Love the gun but did have one small problem.  The barrel wasn't "floating".  I had to break out the Dremal and do a little sanding but it only took a few seconds.

I love the rifle and consider it a excellent value.  Check out Wal-mart prices if you are looking to buy cheap.

One concern I would have would be recoil.  Light rifle and big bullets mean big recoil.
