I'm closing a deal on an IOR 4-14x50 Illuminated, side focus tactical. For those who own or have owned one, what do you think? What am I in for? Thanx...

I have a IOR 2.5X10X56mm Illuminated and I love it. :grin: I have hundreds of rounds fired from my .308 and not one problem. Very well made scopes.

I've seen some postings that state some problems with the 4-14x50. Not sure if it was specific to that model only. Something about a black speck appearing and a hue that remained behind after the spot cleared one of the lenses. Paint? Not sure. Just wondering if a problem exists with the 4-14's. Thanx...

I got my 4-14x50. WOW! It truely is a great scope. It's bright and very well built. Highly recommended. One note though, IT's HEAVY!!! I got the illuminated model with the MP-8. Thanx for all the advice.
